Paavai Engineering college along with CII-IWN(TN) conducted a webinar on “PREVENTION OF SEXUAL HARASSMENT”on 01.10.2022 (Saturday) for all the girls. The resource person of the day Ms. Mithra Malini appraised the students with the necessary awareness the students had to know about sexual harassment and enlightened them about the POSH and its importance. She also suggested the students to know the difference between bullying, harassment & a compliment.
She also alerted the students with some Do’s and Don’t to be followed when in an unpleasant situation. The students learnt the acceptance of diversity, importance of informing, official complaints & professional behavior to be maintained in a workplace. The students learnt the importance of considering “I, me and myself”. The students raised their queries and interacted with the resource person.
