The Department of Information Technology, in association with Indian Society for Technical Education(ISTE) and Institution Innovation Council(IIC) organized a one day Alumni Guest Lecture titled “Higher Study Opportunities in Taiwan” on 21.08.2025 at Kalam’s chamber..
The welcome address was delivered by Ms.R.Yogapriya, third-year Information Technology and The presidential address was delivered by Dr.K.K.Ramasamy, Direct-Admin, Paavai Institutions. He focused on the diverse academic and research opportunities available in Taiwan. And Ms.J.Aafia bareen, a from final year Information Technology, who introduced the chief guest.
The alumni speaker for the session was Mr.Mohammed Riyaz, Masters in computer science, Yuan Ze University, Taiwan. He shared valuable insights into the diverse career opportunities available for engineers in Taiwan.
Mr.Mohammed Riyaz elaborated on the procedures to get admissions in Taiwan universities and about the opportunities available there for a bachelor’s degree holder. He also explained in detail about scholarship schemes available in universities over there and share about the culture prevails in the campus, food and hostel facilities. He encouraged students to pursue their higher study in Taiwan to deepen their understanding level and to explore the study culture.
The faculty members and students actively participated in the program and made it a grand success. Nearly 200 participants benefitted from this Lecture. Vote of thanks was proposed by Mr.Vishnu Prasath S.S, a third-year Information Technology.
