The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Paavai Engineering College (Autonomous), successfully organized an Alumni Guest Lecture on the topic “Modern Trends in Aerospace Electronics” on 7th January 2026.
Mr. P. Krishnamurthy, Senior Technical Manager, Cyient Ltd, delivered Bengaluru, an esteemed alumnus of the department the guest lecture. The session aimed to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry practices by exposing students to recent advancements in aerospace electronics.
During the lecture, the speaker highlighted emerging technologies, real-time industrial applications, and future career opportunities in the aerospace sector. He also shared his professional experiences, emphasizing the importance of core engineering knowledge, skill development, and adaptability in the rapidly evolving aerospace industry. The session was highly interactive, with students actively participating and clarifying their queries. The programme was well received by both students and faculty members, and it served as an excellent platform for motivation, knowledge sharing, and alumni interaction.
A total of 80 students attended and benefited from the programme. The guest lecture was organized under the leadership of Dr. G. Balaji, Professor and Head of the Department, and coordinated by Dr.T.Nandagopal. The event began with a welcome address by Ms. .Nandhini, III Year EEE, and concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Ms.Balanagarani, III Year EEE.
