The Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Paavai Engineering College, in association with the SDIM Club, organized an Alumni Guest Lecture on “Trends and Future Scope of Angular & Spring Boot” on 17th October 2025 through an online platform.
The session began with a welcome address delivered by Ms. R. Dhivyasri, Final Year CSE student, who warmly greeted the dignitaries and participants. The presidential address was delivered by Dr. M. Prem Kumar, Principal of Paavai Engineering College, who emphasized the importance of staying updated with the latest technologies and encouraged students to gain hands-on experience in modern development frameworks like Angular and Spring Boot.
Ms. R. Harini, Third Year CSE student, introduced the guest speaker, Ms. C. Kalaivani, Software Engineer at Tech Mahindra, Chennai, and a proud alumna of the department.
In her keynote address, Ms. Kalaivani provided valuable insights into the latest trends, industrial applications, and future opportunities in Angular and Spring Boot. She elaborated on how these technologies are transforming modern web development and shared her professional experiences, offering career guidance and practical tips for students aspiring to enter the software industry.
The session was highly interactive, with students actively participating and posing questions related to project development and career advancement.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Ms. S. Swathi, Final Year CSE student, who expressed gratitude to the management, principal, guest speaker, and all participants for their contribution to the success of the session.
The guest lecture proved to be both informative and inspiring, enhancing students’ understanding of full-stack development and motivating them to explore emerging technologies in the field of computer science.
