The Department of Cyber Security organized a Guest Lecture on the topic “FULL STACK UNLOCKED: CLOUD SKILLS FOR THE MODERN DEVELOPER” on 04.09.2025 at Kalam’s Chamber.
The session commenced with a welcome address delivered by Ms. K. Durga Prasana, II Year Cyber Security, who warmly greeted the gathering and highlighted the significance of the event.
The Presidential Address was delivered by Dr. M. Premkumar, Principal, Paavai Engineering College, who emphasized the importance of full-stack skills, cloud technologies, cybersecurity awareness, and industrial readiness.
Following this, Ms. A. Suriyakumaran, II Year Cyber Security, introduced the Resource Person, Mr. P. Bernad Arockiam, Technical Lead and corporate professional, well known for his expertise in SDLC development.
During the session, Mr. Bernard provided deep insights into modern full-stack development strategies and the essential cloud integration skills required for today’s developers. He highlighted the importance of mastering both front-end and back-end technologies, including frameworks, APIs, microservices, and containerization. The lecture also stressed the role of cloud platforms in enabling scalable and secure application deployment. Additionally, he shared a career roadmap for students in cloud and software development, discussing industry certifications, real-world applications, and emerging technologies.
The session was highly interactive, with students actively participating in the Q&A segment and gaining valuable insights into industry expectations and best practices. A total of 220 students attended the event, which provided them with practical knowledge and guidance on leveraging cloud technologies to strengthen their full-stack development skills.
The Guest Lecture concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms. K. Varuna, III Year Cyber Security.
