The guest lecture titled “Risk, Resilience and Reinvention” was delivered by Mr. M. V. Dhanush, Admin, Red Chilli Family Restaurant, and a proud alumni of Paavai Engineering College (MBA, Batch 2023–2025). The programme was conducted on 31 January 2026 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM through online mode with the objective of enriching students’ academic knowledge through alumni industry interaction. The session focused on contemporary business challenges and emphasized the importance of risk management, adaptability, and continuous reinvention for sustainable organizational growth.
The programme was organized under the guidance of Dr. N. Swarnalatha, Head – MBA, whose support and leadership contributed significantly to the successful conduct of the event. The overall programme was conducted with the encouragement and blessings of Dr. M. Premkumar, Principal, Paavai Engineering College. The programme commenced with a brief introduction of the resource person. The speaker shared his professional journey and practical experiences from the hospitality industry, highlighting how resilience and innovative thinking play a vital role in overcoming uncertainties and competitive pressures. The session was interactive, and students actively participated by raising questions related to entrepreneurship, career development, and crisis management.
The guest lecture was highly informative and motivational. It provided students with valuable real-time insights, enhanced their managerial perspectives, and strengthened the alumni–institution relationship. The programme concluded with a formal vote of thanks, marking the successful completion of the event.
