The Microbytes Innovation Club, under the Department of Mechatronics Engineering at Paavai Engineering College, organized the event “Mindmaze” on August 21, 2025. The event was inaugurated by Dr. D. R. P. Rajarathnam, Head of the Department of Mechatronics Engineering, and witnessed the participation of 77 students from various departments.
The event commenced with a Preliminary Round, where participants solved 20 jumbled words and 5 sentence-sequencing questions within 30 minutes. Based on their performance, 20 students advanced to the second round.
In the Second Round, participants answered 10 “Fact or False” questions within 15 minutes, recording their responses on the question paper. From this stage, the top 5 students qualified for the final round.
In the Final Round, participants were required to answer questions based on images displayed in a PowerPoint presentation. The top two performers were selected based on their overall performance.
The event concluded with Dr. R. Arravind, Professor and Head of the Department of Aeronautical Engineering, distributing certificates to the winners and runners-up.
