The CII-IWN Campus to Career Programme took place at Paavai Engineering College on 03 March 2025. The event was graced by the Principal of Paavai Engineering College, along with various Heads of Departments and final-year female students. The welcome address was delivered by S.Swathi, a third-year student from the CSE department.
The presidential address on Resume Building and Acting Interviews was delivered by Dr. M. Premkumar, Principal of Paavai Engineering College, He highlighted key aspects such as clarity, conciseness, and relevance in resume writing, advising students to showcase their skills, achievements, and experiences effectively. Dr. Premkumar also provided valuable insights on interview preparation, including the significance of confidence, communication skills, body language, and domain knowledge. He encouraged students to research potential employers, practice common interview questions, and develop a professional demeanor to leave a lasting impression. His address served as a practical guide to enhancing employability and securing career opportunities in a competitive job market.
Additionally, M. Arun elaborated on the changing dynamics of workplace expectations, urging professionals to develop strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. He underscored the need for resilience, time management, and work-life balance to sustain long-term success. Advocating for a proactive approach to career planning, he advised individuals to set clear goals, embrace challenges, and remain open to learning new technologies and methodologies. His session served as a motivating and transformative guide for aspiring professionals, equipping them with the knowledge and mindset needed to excel in their careers.
The vote of thanks was delivered by S.Nithyashree, a second-year student from the CSE department. The session was attended by a total of 210 students and faculty members.
