The CII-IWN Campus to Career Programme took place at Paavai Engineering College on 28th December 2024. The event was graced by the Principal of Paavai Engineering College, along with various Heads of Departments and final-year female students. The welcome address was delivered by F. Delphinaa, a third-year student from the CSE department.
The presidential address on Personal Branding was delivered by Dr. M. Premkumar, Principal of Paavai Engineering College, he discussed about the importance of building a strong personal brand in today’s competitive world. He emphasized how personal branding can help individuals stand out, create a unique identity, and achieve professional success.
Mrs. Rekha Dhinakaran, Founder of Meraki Design and Lead Mentorship for IWN, Karur, Tamil Nadu, conducted an insightful session on Personal Branding at the event. She began by explaining the significance of personal branding in today’s digital age, emphasizing how it helps individuals stand out and create a lasting impression in their professional and personal lives. She shared practical strategies for building a strong personal brand, including the importance of consistency, authenticity, and effective communication.
She further discussed how leveraging social media platforms, showcasing one’s expertise, and aligning personal values with professional goals can enhance an individual’s brand image. Through engaging examples and interactive discussions, she encouraged the participants to develop their unique voices and actively manage their personal brand to create new opportunities for growth and success.
