An online alumni guest lecture on the topic “What’s Your Next Step?: Career Planning and Development” was organized by the Department of Aeronautical Engineering on November 18, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM. The guest speaker for the event was Mr. Prammasudhan Chitravel (Batch: 2017-2021), Associate MSS SOC at Zaco R&D Private Limited, Coimbatore. The objective of the session was to equip students with the knowledge and practical tools needed to make informed career choices, set actionable goals, and develop a personalized roadmap for professional growth.
The welcome address and introduction of the chief guest were delivered by Ms. G. Kokila, a final-year Aeronautical Engineering student.
In his address, Mr. Prammasudhan Chitravel highlighted the importance of exploring diverse career pathways and setting clear, achievable career goals. He emphasized the transformative role of education and the significance of continuous learning for both personal and professional development. He also provided an insightful overview of various job-seeking platforms, explaining their utility in navigating the job market. Additionally, he underscored the invaluable experience gained through internships, which play a crucial role in shaping a successful career trajectory.
The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. S. Thrisha, a second-year Aeronautical Engineering student. The event was convened by Dr. R. Arravind, Professor and Head of the Department, and coordinated by Mr. K. Gokulnath, Assistant Professor.
