On July 3, 2024, the Department of Agricultural Engineering at Paavai Engineering College organized a Paddy Sowing Celebration in association with Paavai Organic Farming. The event was headed by Dr. A. Vivekanandhini, Head – Department of Agricultural Engineering, and was attended by faculties and students of the Agricultural Engineering Department at M. S Swamynathan Vayal Kudam, Paavai Engineering College at 9:30 am.
The celebration aimed to promote paddy sowing demonstration using organic farming practices, an explanation of the importance of paddy cultivation to the students.
The event was a success, with the students actively participating in the paddy sowing demonstration and showing keen interest in learning about organic farming practices. The faculties and staff of the Agricultural Engineering Department were also present, and their expertise and guidance added value to the event. The Paddy Sowing Celebration promoted sustainable agricultural practices, organic farming, and environmental stewardship among the students and faculty, inspiring them to adopt environmentally friendly practices.
In conclusion, the Paddy Sowing Celebration at Paavai Engineering College was a resounding successful.
