The Department of ECE had organised for a Hospital Visit as a part of the Curriculum for the course “Medical Electronics” on 16.11.2024 at “Sree Jayam Hospial”, Mallur which was accommodated by two of our faculty members Mr.S.Loganathan and Mrs.A.Aarthi along with 60 students.
Mr.R.Suresh, Manager and Senior Lab Technician along with two junior Lab Technicians of Sree Jayam Hospital guided our students in good way by explaining the various medical Instruments like ElectroCardiogram(ECG), Glucose strips and its types. They demonstrated the working operations of X-Rays, CT scan, ECG, Sphymanometer. Later the students visited ICU ward, where the technicians briefed about the use of various oxygen pipes and different types of Electrodes used for the patients.
The outcome of visit was, the students gained knowledge and had a practical exposure of the usage of various equipment’s in the medical field. Dr.R.Mohana Priya,HoD,ECE and Mr.S.Loganathan, AP,ECE, Mrs.A.Aarthi,AP,ECE coordinated the Hospital visit with the guidance of Dr.M.Premkumar, Principal, Paavai Engineering College.
