The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering in association with Electronics Club organized a mini project expo titled “Technova’24” on 15.10.2024. The goal of the Technova’24 mini project expo was to enable the students to design and demonstrate an innovative electronic system that addresses real-world problems with practical and creative solutions.
Dr. I. Rajendran, Dean, Research & Innovation, Paavai Engineering College, Namakkal and Dr. P. Pugalenthi, ASP / Mechanical Engineering, Paavai Engineering College, Namakkal evaluated our students projects and gave their suggestions to improve the project ideas. Dr. R. Mohanapriya HoD, ECE welcomed everyone to the Mini Project Expo – Technova’24 .This expo has offered a platform for students to apply their learning and to explore embedded systems to communication protocols, IoT devices, automation, and much more. Each project represented a unique combination of critical thinking, hands-on design, and problem-solving. Our students have worked diligently to translate their ideas into functional prototypes, addressing a range of challenges such as improving efficiency, enhancing connectivity, or creating smart, automated systems. Through this event, we aimed to foster innovation, collaboration, and a deeper appreciation for the role of electronics and communication engineering in shaping our modern world.
In the Keynote address Dr. I. Rajendran, Dean, Research & Innovation, Paavai Engineering College, Namakkal addressed the students and appreciated the students for their efforts taken. Dr. R. Mohanapriya, Convener, HoD, ECE, Mr. D. Satheesh Kumar AP / ECE, Mr. S. Vijayakumar and Mr. S.Vijay Murugan ASP / ECE, were the faculty coordinators. 30 batches comprising of 180 students exhibited their projects mini project expo. The students gained a deeper understanding of the fundamental concepts of electronic systems, including hardware components, software integration and real time system.
