The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized a six days AICTE ATAL – EduSkills FDP on “Mist – AI” supported by Juniper Networks, Paavai Innovation Forum from 27.01.2025 to 01.02.2025. The objective of this FDP is to provide a structured framework for optimizing Juniper products and technologies in real-world customer environments, how network services can be integrated into different industry processes to optimize workflows, predict outcomes and enhance their experiences
In the Presidential address, Dr.M.Premkumar, Principal, Paavai Engineering College insisted that Network devices are the unseen force, driving much of the technological advancements that we witness today. They are at the heart of countless real time applications, from our everyday consumer electronics to the complex machinery that powers our industries. He also emphasized the faculties to attend more seminars related to networking and make our students to get placed in network domain company and and also to become entrepreneurs by creating startup industries in near future.
In the Keynote address, Mr.Mitu Swain, Talent Development Manager, EduSkills Foundation, Bangalore insisted on the importance of networking devices and how it generates immense amounts of data and also highlighted features of various devices used in Juniper. FDP day wise report is given below
Dr.R.Mohanapriya, Convener, HoD/ECE, Dr.P.Thiyagarajan ASP/CSE, Mr.S.Satheeshkumar AP/ECE, were the faculty coordinators and 26 faculties from various departments of Paavai Engineering College attended the entire session. The outcome of the FDP was, all faculties gained a deeper understanding of the fundamental concepts of networking devices using JUNOS and Mist AI.
