The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of Paavai Engineering College, in association with the Institution Innovation Council, organized a one-day workshop on “Emerging Trends for Engineers and Career Opportunities” on September 18, 2024, at Cute Hall.
The welcome address was delivered by Selvi Nancy D., a third-year student in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Dr. I. Rajendran, Dean of Research and Innovation, along with the Heads of the Departments, honored the resource person with a memento. The guest speaker was introduced by Selvi Elakya R., also a third-year student in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
Er. V. Sasikumar, Founder of Mikrosun Technology, Salem, Tamil Nadu, served as the resource person. He explained the significance of various passive and active electronic components such as resistors, inductors, and capacitors. Additionally, he presented various statistical reports on power electronics manufacturing processes and emphasized the importance of power electronics in the core sector, highlighting its vital contributions and associated career opportunities.
The Head of the Department of EEE, faculty members, and students participated in the session and benefited greatly. The vote of thanks was delivered by Selvi Nancy D., a third-year student in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
