The Information Technology Department, in association with the Computer Society of India (CSI), organized a one-day Guest Lecture on “Microsoft Cloud & AI in the Modern Era: Shaping the Future of Application Development and Career Landscapes” for the benefit of students on 08.03.2025 at Kalam’s Chamber. Dr. K. K. Ramasamy, Director of Administration, Paavai Institutions, presided over the function. In his presidential address, he motivated students to actively participate in various activities and encouraged them to think innovatively to achieve their goals in life.

The chief guests elaborated on how AI-powered cloud solutions are reshaping industries by enabling organizations to automate workflows, enhance security, and optimize operations. They also highlighted emerging trends in machine learning, data analytics, and cloud infrastructure, offering students valuable guidance on skill development and career paths in AI-driven technologies.

The event was meticulously coordinated by Mrs. B. Deepa, AP/IT, with Mr. S. Sabarish, Final Year / IT, serving as the student coordinator. Mrs. M. Babylatha, AP/IT, and Mr. N. Suvin Kumar, Final Year / IT, took charge as the staff and student rapporteurs, respectively.
With over 250 participants, including faculty members and students, the session proved to be a grand success, equipping attendees with practical knowledge and insights into the evolving landscape of AI and cloud computing.
