The Department of Management Studies at Paavai Engineering College hosted an online webinar to celebrate National Entrepreneurship Day on 11.11.2024. In the session the welcome address was given by Ms.S.Gayathri, Department of Management Studies,Dr. T.Kalaiselvi,Director – MBA of Paavai Engineering College felicitated the gathering and Ms. P.Shalini of MBA, introduced the chief guest.
The theme focused on fostering partnerships between academia and industry for research, development, innovation, and incubation. This collaborative approach aims to support entrepreneurship, enhance research opportunities, and create pathways for incubation programs. The event featured Mr. Rajendra Mootha, COO of IIT Madras Research Park, as the Chief Guest. He shared valuable insights on the importance of collaborations between educational institutions and industry leaders. He highlighted the role of innovation and incubation centers in bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. His experience at IIT Madras Research Park served as a practical example of how such partnerships can benefit both students and the industry.
Finally, the vote of thanks was delivered by Ms.Dhenushree of MBA. Faculty members from Paavai institutions were attended the webinar and the session was very insightful and informative for all.
