The Department of Management Studies, Paavai Engineering College (Autonomous) organized a workshop titled “Raising Capital and Managing Finance for Startups” on 25th April 2025 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Cute Hall, Paavai Engineering College, Namakkal.
The event began with a prayer song by Ms. B. Keerthana and Ms. T. Tamil Elakkiya, followed by the Master of Ceremony conducted by Ms. G. Kowsalya, a first-year MBA student, who also welcomed the gathering.
The presidential address was delivered by Dr. K. Selvi, Dean Academics of Paavai Engineering College, who highlighted the qualities required by youth to start a business.
Dr. R. Bharath, Professor and Head of the MBA Department, felicitated the gathering with a motivational speech on the skills MBA students need to become successful entrepreneurs.
Ms. Devadharshini, a first-year MBA student, introduced the guest speaker, Mr. Ranjith Kumar, Founder and Director of Moringa Promise Wellness Pvt. Ltd., Theni, who then conducted the session.
Mr. Ranjith Kumar spoke on managing finances when starting a business and how to effectively brand a business globally using social media at low cost.
The students were enthusiastic and motivated by his engaging and insightful talk. The session concluded with a Q&A, during which the speaker answered students’ queries.
Finally, Mr. S. Tamilselvan, a first-year MBA student, delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the guest speaker, faculty members, and participants.
