The department of MCA, Paavai Engineering College in association with Institutions Innovation Council (IIC) organized a one day workshop on “Mastering Data Management: A Deep Drive into MySQL and MongoDB” on 29th June 2024. The resource person for the workshop was Ms.S.Chitra Associate Director, Odugaa Tech, Coimbatore. The function started with a prayer song invoking God’s blessings. Ms.V.Keerthi I-Year MCA, welcomed the gathering. The function was presided over by Dr.P.Muthusamy, HoD / MCA, Paavai Engineering College.
Dr.P.Muthusamy, in his presidential address, insisted the students to enhance their skills along with subject knowledge and to face the current trend of corporate world requirements. Introduction of the chief guest was given by Ms.C.Kalaivani, I-Year MCA.
The chief guest, Ms.S.Chitra, in her keynote address motivated the student’s roadmap to stepping into the current trend of MongoDB. She stressed on the importance of the continuous learning, MySQL and MongoDB development and building a strong Knowledge. She gave detailed information about MongoDB. She instructed students to step out of their comfort zone and collaborate across departments of Field of IT. Additionally, she underscored the significance of Software Development Methodologies like Python programming Language, Artificial Intelligence and DevOps Development Methodology. Finally, she shared her personal experiences to enable students to understand the feature of IT.
The session was an interactive one and helped the students to clear their queries by the resource person. The outcome of this one day workshop was that the students looking to flourish in the MySQL and MongoDB.
The workshop concluded with the vote of thanks by Ms.G.Yuvasri, I-year MCA. Heads of various Departments, Professors, and Faculty members actively participated in the program and made it a grand success. The students from Department of MCA participated with full motivation and got benefitted by this workshop.
