A workshop on “Autodesk Fusion 360” was organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, and the Resource Club in association with ICT Academy on 22nd January 2025.
The workshop aimed to provide students with hands-on experience in 3D modeling and design using industry-standard tools. Fusion 360, a comprehensive CAD/CAM/CAE software, is widely used in engineering and design fields. The primary objective was to equip students with the skills required to develop innovative solutions to real-world problems.
The resource person for the workshop was Mr. Vimalkrishnan M.E., Senior Design Representative at ICT Academy. He is a distinguished academician and design trainer with expertise in addressing real-time problems.
In his presidential address, the Head of the Department urged participants to make the most of this opportunity to gain valuable knowledge in Fusion 360, which could significantly contribute to their project work.
The workshop concluded on a positive note with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the expertise of the resource person and the enthusiasm of the participants. The session was well-received, with attendees appreciating its practical insights and relevance.
