The Department of Pharmaceutical Technology conducted a Guest Lecture on “Explore Careers in Clinical Research” on January 29, 2025 (Wednesday) via Microsoft Teams from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
The session began with a welcome address and speaker introduction by P. Sobika, a second-year student. The students of the Pharmaceutical Technology Department actively participated in the session.
The resource persons, Mr. C. S. Mujeebuddin (M. Pharm, M.Sc.) and Mr. Danish Ali, shared their real-time experiences, creating awareness among students about clinical research and career opportunities in the field. They highlighted the importance of drug development and the various career paths available for Pharmaceutical Technology students.

The speakers also introduced Medical Writing as a critical field ensuring the accurate communication of clinical data. They provided insights into certified courses offered by their esteemed firm and career possibilities in Clinical Research.
The session concluded with an interactive Q&A, where students clarified their queries. The speakers proactively addressed their concerns, motivating students to explore careers in clinical research.
The guest lecture was organized by Ms. S. Ilakya, Assistant Professor, Pharma, under the Medino Association of Pharmaceutical Technology, under the supervision of Dr. R. Praveen Kumar, Professor and Head, Pharma. The vote of thanks was delivered by E. Rajasri, a second-year Pharma student.
