The Department of Mechatronics Engineering, in association with Paavai Mechatronics Engineers, Paavai Engineering College, organized a MoU Signing Ceremony and Guest Lecture on the topic “E-Vehicle Architecture and Advancement” on 13.10.2025. The event commenced with a warm welcome address by Ms. G. Nishanthini, III Year B.E. Mechatronics. The Presidential Address was delivered by Dr. M. Premkumar, Principal, Paavai Engineering College, who emphasized the importance of transforming project works into potential Start-up ventures in the future. Mr. S. K. Kiran, III Year B.E. Mechatronics Engineering, introduced the chief guest Mr. Alagarsamy Rajamanickam, CEO & Founder, MEHNIDO & SEED, Coimbatore.
The MoU Signing Ceremony was held between the Department of Mechatronics Engineering and MEHNIDO & SEED, Coimbatore. During the occasion, Mr. Alagarsamy Rajamanickam delivered an insightful address highlighting his company’s commitment towards joint projects, technology transfer, and capacity building initiatives.
Following the ceremony, the guest lecture was delivered by Mr. Alagarsamy Rajamanickam, who elaborated on various aspects of E-Vehicle Architecture—including battery systems, power electronics, thermal management, vehicle control, and software integration—that form the backbone of next-generation EV performance, safety, and efficiency. He emphasized that with the global shift toward electrification, understanding these systems is crucial for developing vehicles that are reliable, scalable, and cost-competitive.
The session concluded with an interactive discussion, leaving students inspired and motivated to explore emerging opportunities in the field of electric vehicles. The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Mr. Kathiravan, III Year B.E. Mechatronics Engineering.
