The Institution’s Innovation Council(IIC) in association with Entrepreneurship Development Cell & Crescent Innovation and Incubation Council CIIC organised a orientation session on “TITAN Design Impact Movement Idea Harvest 24” on 27.02.2024 at 11.00 a.m. Dr.R.MohanaPriya, IIC Convener welcomed the gathering and introduced the resource speaker. Dr.I.Rajendiran, Dean, Research and Innovation, Paavai Engineering College presided over the session. Mr.K.Karthick, Head, Industry 4.0,Crescent Innovation & Incubation Council, CIIC, Chennai was the resource speaker.
In his session, he emphasized the importance of Innovation cycle. He also delivered the need for maintaining and improving the quality of projects that are applied through various agencies. He elucidated about the research roadmap, patent processing and the various laws and regulations to be followed under different sections and acts. He also gave a gist of the patentable and non-patentable products.
Queries were posted by the participants and clarified by the speaker. It was conducted through online mode and attended by around 50 members and few attended in offline mode from all the departments of Paavai Engineering College. Dr.M.PremKumar, Principal, Paavai Engineering College, Dr.K.Sundaramoorthy, IQAC Head, EDC and IIC coordinators from various departments attended the session at Cute Hall.
