On the behalf of Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam’s birthday Department of Information Technology and Civil organized a speech competition and essay writing on “Responsibility of the youth in the world of science” in association with IE(I), Salem Local centre, Salem on 17th October 2019 at Kalam’s chamber .The function started with a prayer song. Er.D.Arulselvan,FIE,chairman,IE(I),Salem local centre,Salem welcomed the gathering .The guest speaker of the session was Dr. K.K. Ramasamy Director administration,Paavai institution.In his speech he noted how the students should be and insisted every students to be creative.The Principal, Paavai Engineering College, presided over the function. In his presidential address, he emphasized the importance of this session and motivated the student enthusiastic to learn more from the speaker. As the session was very interactive , students were excited and interacted enthusiastically .In the beginning Dr.K.K.Ramasamy posted many interactive questions to the students and gave many ideas to shine. The vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs.Umanambi HOD Civil department. It was very good learning experience .The lecture helped the students in understanding the exposure towards the science and technology.
