Talent Quest for India of Paavai Engineering College has organised the West Zonal -1 training on 09.07.2023 from 9.00a.m. to 6.00p.m. Around 100 volunteers took part in the training. Volunteers from KSR College of Technology , R.P.Sarathy Institute of Technology, Vinayaka Mission Colleges and Dharmapuri cluster team made their presence to the training. It started with the welcome address by Ms. M.J . Safa Faren, Final year BME and TQI Ullas Project Manager. Mr. G. Ramasubramaniam, Founder of TQI honoured Mr. S. Sathish TQI faculty coordinator of Paavai Engineering College as a token of gratitude.
The training session started with the orientation program by the founder of TQI. Many volunteers shared their experience of working in different projects. Later, the session was handled by the trainers Mr. G. Thirumalai Kumar and Mr.S.Arsad Madani from TQI. They started by explaining the importance of the training. Followed with it, in Summit-1 DOD session, they explained all the do’s and dont’s for taking ULLAS classes in schools. Summit classes procedures were elucidated in the morning session.
A group activity was conducted by the trainers to keep the students engaging with all the volunteers in the training. In Summit-2 session , they explained about planning, time management, teamwork and decision making and conducted games to all the volunteers to demonstrate the importance of teamwork.
After the completion of Summit 2 , TQI program manager Mr. R.Sudharsan took over the session and explained about the process flow to take the ULASS session that included lesson plan, reports, finance, mail matrices etc. After completion of all these sessions, he concluded with the query and answer, feedback session. Mr.V.Navin Kumar, West 1 Zonal head summarised the happenings of the whole day and thanked Paavai Engineering College and all the volunteers for their tremendous support. Finally the session ended with a Vote of Thanks by Roshan Kumar V Namakkal team SPOC. The whole training wrapped up with the group photo.
