A One Day Online Guest Lecture On “ADVANCES IN AVIONICS – AN INDUSTRY PERSPECTIVE” was Organized By The Department Of Aeronautical Engineering in association with Aeromodelling Club and ASSC Student Chapter On 26/09/2022 Between 10.30 AM – 12.30 PM. Dr.K.NATARAJAN, Former AGM-Bharat Electronics Ltd, Former Professor and Functional Head Avionics, Aerospace Department, Jain Deemed to be University Bangalore was the guest speaker. The Director Administration, Dr.K.K.Ramasamy and the Principal Dr.M.Premkumar supported and guided for the conduct of the program. The webinar was convened by Professor & Head of the department, Dr.R.Arravind and co-ordinated by Assistant Professor Mr.M.Benedict .The welcome address and chief guest introduction was delivered by Mr.M.Ashwin barath, student of IV year aeronautical engineering. Faculty members and students of actively participated in the webinar.
Dr.K.NATARAJAN elaborated on the concepts and practices involved in avionics, advancements in aerospace field and avionics system. He briefed about the avionics system design, development and integration in defense sector. He also explained to the students the concepts of navigation, guidance and performance in mission management. In the end of the session, he answered the questions of the participants.
All the participated faculty members and students found the program to be very useful. At the end, Ms.G.Kokila of second year aeronautical engineering delivered the vote of thanks.
