Guest Lecture on “Innovations in Applications of Drone Technology” and MOU SIGNING CEREMONY with Unitos Aero Drone Solutions was organized by the Department of Aeronautical Engineering on 13.02.2023. Dr.M.Premkumar, Principal Paavai Engineering College delivered the presidential address about the importance of skill development and opportunities available for entrepreneurship, startups in the field of drones. A MOU was signed between Paavai Engineering College and Unitos Aero Drone Solutions a registered company having its office at Salem-636007, Tamil Nadu, India who are engaged in the Drone Design Fabrication, Service and R&D works in Drones, Surveying and Mining of coal fields
This collaboration will facilitate consultancy projects, Internship, In-plant Training, Industrial Visit, Student projects, Guest lecture and curriculum enrichment for the welfare of students and faculty member of the institution. Recruitment of eligible students to work on their organization based on the requirements at the end of each academic year.
Mr.P.Ramasamy, Director, Unitos Aero Drone Solutions, Salem, Tamil Nadu delivered the keynote address about the scope for aeronautical students in Drone sector and skills needed for getting jobs in Drone companies. He also elaborated his company’s journey and encouraged the students on how to become an entrepreneur in Indian Drone Sector. Earlier the welcome address was given by Mr.M.Navin Kumar of final year aeronautical engineering and the chief guest introduction was given by Ms.A.Selva Bharathi of final year aeronautical engineering and the vote of thanks was given by Mr.Perikala Akhilesh of Second year aeronautical engineering. The event was coordinated by the faculty Mr.D.Raj Kumar, M.E., Assistant Professor from the Department of Aeronautical., Dr R Arravind, Head of Department and the faculty members of the Aeronautical department and other faculty members graced the function. Totally 95 students were benefitted by attending this event
