A one day Webinar on the title “Structural Detailing using TEKLA” was organized by the Department of Civil Engineering in association with Paavai Civil Engineering Association, Paavai Engineering College (Autonomous) on 28.09.2023. Prof.K.Sharmiladevi, Head of the Department, Department of Civil Engineering, Paavai Engineering College welcomed the chief guest and delivered her presidential address on this event, she elaborated to students about the structural design and detailing of structures.
Mrs.Sowmya, M.E., (Struct. Engg), Application Engineer, Institute of Industrial Design, Salem was the resource speaker. She briefed about various softwares used for Detailing of structures. She also elaborated about the TEKLA software with a detailing sample done for a building. At the end of this webinar, the students have gained knowledge about TEKLA and its application in civil field.
Prof.K.Sharmiladevi, HoD/Civil, Mr.A.Jayapal, AP/Civil and Mr.N.Moorthi, AP/Civil Faculty coordinators along with faculty members, and around 46 participants were present in webinar.Our one day webinar was successfully concluded. The session was very interactive and knowledgeable.
