The department of Cyber Security has organized a webinar on “How to Start a Business and Startup Grind with Successful Launch” on 16 September 2023 between 10AM to 11.30 AM , through Microsoft Teams platform. The lecture was given by Mr. B. Mani Parthasarathy, Fintech Expert, CEO, Cloudbankin, Isprout Business Center, OMR , chennai-96.
Dr. P. Muthusamy chaired the session and delivered welcome address and introduced the resource speaker Mr. B. Mani Parthasarathy. Mr. B. Mani Parthasarathy delivered the lecture on how to start a business. He explained all the marketing strategy like how to attract the customers, key object for startup and the methods to raise funds. He also shared his real time experience in startup and the methods to overcome failure in early stage of business.
The whole session was fully interactive. Students raised various doubts and Mr. B. Mani parthasarathy have answered all the questions with neat example. He also explained about various government schemes for startup(AIM, STP)etc. and he suggest a book titled “Rich dad Poor dad” which advocates the importance of financial literacy, increasing one’s financial intelligence.
We received good response from the participants and also they gave very good feedback. The resource person thanked the organizers for arranging the live webinar. At the end of the webinar Mrs. J.Velumani, Associate Professor delivered the vote of thanks. She thanked the Resource person, Management, Director – Admin, Principal, Dean, HoD (Cyber Security), faculty members and participants for their active support for making the programme to be successful.
