The Department of ECE organized a six days Faculty Development Programme titled “Recent Advancements and Applications of Data Science” from 27.06.22 to 02.07.2022 in association with Institute of Engineers (India), Salem local Centre, Salem through online mode.
In the inaugural session the welcome address was given by Dr.M.Sudha, Professor and Head of the Department and Our Director-Admin Dr.K.K.Ramasamy felicitated the gathering. Ms.S.Sretheresene, third year B.E-ECE, introduced the chief guest.
Day 1: 27.06.2022
Dr.S.V.Kogilavani, ASP / AI, Kongu Engineering College, Perundurai, Erode was the resource speaker. Ms.S.Sretheresene, third year B.E-ECE, introduced the chief guest. In her lecture she explained about the Introduction to Machine learning, Applying Machine learning Technique for Image Processing.

Dr.S.Sridevi, ASP, ECE, VelTech Institute of Science & Tech, Avadi was the resource speaker. Ms.S.Sretheresene, third year B.E-ECE, introduced the chief guest. In her lecture she elucidate about the Machine and Deep learning for Signal Classification

Prof.S.Sathish, AP, ECE ECEKCT, Coimbatore, was the resource speaker. Ms.S.Sretheresene, third year B.E-ECE, introduced the chief guest. In his lecture he elaborated the Machine Learning Algorithm for WSN.
Day 4: 30.06.2022
Dr.S.K.Aruna,AP / CSE,Christ Deemed University, Bangalore was the resource speaker. Ms.S.Sretheresene, third year B.E-ECE, introduced the chief guest. In her lecture she explained Deep Learning based Real Time Video Processing.
Day 5: 01.02.2022
Dr.P.Anandan,AP(Senior Grade)/ ECE, VIT, Chennai was the resource speaker. Ms.S.Srinithigayathri, third year B.E-ECE, introduced the chief guest. In his lecture he elaborated theMachine learning in Image & Video Processing.
Day 6: 02.07.2022
Dr.A.Bhavanisankar,Prof& Head / EEE,AnjalaiAmmalMahalingamEngg College, Tanjore was the resource speaker. Ms.S.Sretheresene, third year B.E-ECE, introduced the chief guest. In his lecture he explained Artificial Intelligence for Signal Processing.
Finally, the vote of thanks was delivered by Dr.R.Mohanapriya, from ECE department. Mr. S.Vijaymurugan, ASP, ECE, Mrs.S.Usha, AP, ECE, Mr.S.Loganathan, AP, ECE, Mr.S.Satheesh Kumar, AP, ECE was the coordinators. Faculty members from various institutions were attended the FDP and it was very informativesessions for all.
