The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organised an Alumni guest lecture titled “Cyber Security For Automotive Embedded Systems” on 13.10.2023. The welcome address was given by Ms.N.S.Chandalini of III ECE. Dr.M.Premkumar, Principal gave the presidential address. In his address, he appreciated the alumni speaker and motivated the students to utilize this opportunity and be interactive during the session. Ms.M.Mahalakshmi, from III year ECE introduced the Alumni speaker.
Mr.K.Naren Babu, Senior Tech Lead, Bosch Global software Technologies, Coimbatore was the resource speaker. He started the session with the definition for embedded system with some examples. He explained the role and importance of Cyber security in the field of Automotive Embedded system. Alumni speaker also covered about the different types of attacks like, insider attack, outsider attack and others on the organizations. The students were able to acquaint themselves with the various roles and procedures in the automotive field. The speaker encaged the session with interaction. Students were attended the session very enthusiastically. Around 110 members participated in the Alumni guest lecture. Queries were clarified by the resource speaker and the Vote of Thanks was done by Ms.M.Bhuvaneshwari, III Year, ECE.
