The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized the Electronics club event titled “VIRTUAL VELOCITY’’ on 12th October 2023 at 2.00 p.m. The aim to organize such an event was just to give knowledge to the students and develop their Virtual analytical skills to research further other than they learned from books. Secondly, it aimed to show the progress of the field of electronics in our country. Logo Finder, Doodle Challenge, Technical Quiz competition was conducted. It was attended by 100 potential students from all the departments of Paavai Engineering College.
Dr.M.Sudha, Professor and Head,ECE convened the event .Dr.S.Vijayakumar,Professor/ECE encouraged all the Faculty and student coordinators.
Mr.R.Prabhu, Professor&Head, ECE & Bio Medical Engineering was the Chief Guest. He encouraged the students with his knowledge provoking talk for the participation of these type events to bring out their extraordinary talents. He also conducted the final round for the students and make the event more encouragement.
The event was organized by the Faculty coordinators Ms.K.Prasanna Mery, AP/ECE, Mrs.E.Sangeetha, and ASP/ECE along with student coordinators Niranjan (IV year), S.Sri Sabari, G.Sanjay and M.Niranjan from Third ECE in the Smart class room No: M213. At the end of the ceremony, the Chief Guest announced the names of the winners. D.Sivaraman and R.Ajay from from Second Year Agri grasped the First prize. S.Swathi and N.Shalini Second year Cyber secured the second prize. Overall the feedback collected from the students, they felt it was an amazing and knowledge invoked event. These types of activities keep the students active, encourage and confident.
