The Department of EEE & Energy Club, Paavai Engineering College, has scheduled “student activities” on March 4 and 5, 2024, at T112 and T211. To help Electrical and Electronics Engineering majors improve their extracurricular and co-curricular activities, oral presentations and group discussions were arranged. Those that attended the events were second-year EEE students. The students discussed a variety of subjects in their oral presentations, such as sodium-ion batteries: the revolution in renewable energy storage, e-vehicles, core companies vs. IT companies, and dopamine: what it is and what it does. The student participants’ cooperation, communication, and idea-presenting skills in a group environment were evaluated through group discussions.
Based on their performances, the juries—Dr. S. Ramachandran, Dr. D. Boopathi, and Mr. V. Kumarakrishnan—selected the best presentation. Top performers received recognition from Dr. G. Balaji, HoD/EEE.
This student activity was organized by department head and professor Dr. G. Balaji, with Mr. V. Kumarakrishnan functioning as coordinator. II-year Energy Club member Mr. Balaji offered the vote of thanks, and II-year Energy Club member Ms. Elakiya welcomed everyone to the occasion.
