The Department of EEE & Energy Club, Paavai Engineering College, has organized “student activities” on February 6, 2024, at T311. The following events were held to help Electrical and Electronics Engineering students develop their co-curricular and extracurricular activities: Paper Presentations, Mindmaze, Tech Talks, Connections, Anglophones, and Group Discussions. Third- and final-year EEE students took part in the activities.
Seven student batches took part in the paper presentation events on the topic of “Basic Electricals, Stabilizers, Load Cells, etc.” Final-year EEEs Miss Iniya and Mr. Rajidharan led a Mindmaze quiz to assess participants’ knowledge both inside and outside of the classroom and to familiarize them with the format and objectivity of the questions. Moreover, they conducted picture connections to stretch participants brains and encourage them to think outside the box and engage with ideas.
In order to evaluate the student participants’ capacity for cooperation, communication, and idea presentation in a group environment, additional group discussions were held. The juries, consisting of Mr. Satheesh Kumar, Mrs. R. Suganya, and Mr. V. Kumarakrishnan, chose the best presentation based on their performances. The HoD/EEE, Dr. G. Balaji, gave recognition to the top performers.
Dr. G. Balaji, the department head and professor, planned this student activity, with Mr. V. Kumarakrishnan serving as the coordinator.
IV-year Energy Club member Mr. Prasanna Balaji welcomed everyone to the event, and III-year Energy Club member Miss. Priyadharshini gave the vote of gratitude.
