The Department of EEE, Paavai Engineering College has conducted a guest lecture on Energy Conservation and Electrical Safety on 04.02.2020 at Kalam Chamber. Dr.K.K.Ramasamy, Director Administration, presided over the function and insisted the importance of energy conservation to the students. He gave an awareness about the energy auditing and management. Dr.G.Balaji HoD/EEE honoured the chief guest with the memento. Mr.K.Komarasamy AMIE,ME., Assistant Engineer, Operation & Maintanance Othakutherai, TNEB- Gobichetipalayam, was the guest speaker. In his lecture, he explained about the role, needs and importance of energy conservation and electrical safety. In his presentation, he elaborated the concept of renewable energy generation especially the solar plants. He insisted the way of saving electricity for next generation and also pointed out that the technical upgradation plays an important role in energy conservation. He inspired the young electrical engineers with his knowledge on electrical safety and gave an idea about how the safety precautions have to be carried out as an electrical engineer. Ms.M.Hemamalini Final year EEE welcomed the gathering and Ms.V Anushree Third Year EEE proposed the vote of thanks.
