The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized a Virtual Farewell on 17th October 2021 at 11.00 p.m. in Microsoft Teams. The guest speaker was Dr. M. Sudha, the Head of Electronics and Communication Engineering Department. The webinar was attended by 105 students and the faculty members of ECE. The Master of Ceremony was taken over by G. Supraja and S. Keerthana, final year students of Electronics and Communication Engineering Department.
The welcome address was delivered by R. Mukilan, third year student of Electronics and Communication Engineering Department. The first part of the event was tribute Kavithai for the seniors. It was orated by T. Dhivakaran and N. Yuthan, students of ECE Department. It was about friendship and recollecting the memories of college days.
The second part of the event was a tribute to the seniors which was video presentation. It was about their fun, memories and enjoyments in the college and their friendship. The third and final part of the event were funny games, timer race and lights of memories. The games make our seniors joyful and they eagerly involved in the tasks given to them. It was handled by A. Thirupughalvan, S. Venkatesh, N. Yuthan, and S. Susmitha, final year students of Electronics and Communication Engineering Department.
Finally, few faculty members shared their experience and memories about 2021 passed-out students. Students also shared their memories. The vote of thanks was proposed by K. Sowmiya, third year student of Electronics and Communication Engineering Department. As per the feedback from the students, this event makes them more joyful and they recollected their memories of the college days.
