The Department of Food Technology has conducted a webinar entitled “INOVATION AND NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT” on 25.08.2022 (Thursday). The third & final year students of Food Technology of Paavai Engineering College attended the webinar. The resource person of the day Dr.R. Jaganmohan, Professor and Head of Department of Food Science & Nutrition, IIFPT acquainted the students with various research & innovation motives involving the new products developed.He also enlightened the students about the vacuum-packed onion with its uniqueness and made the students know about food waste & by-product utilization. Innovative product development and its importance was emphasized during his talk. The students interacted with the subject expertise with their queries and illuminated themselves.
