The Department of Information Technology, Paavai Engineering College in association with ISTE organized an one day alumni guest lecture on “Opportunities in Cloud Technology ” on 8th April 2022 at Kalams chamber. Mr.A.Mohammed Rilwan , Final year B.Tech /IT done the master of ceremony. Ms.M.Sneha, final year B.Tech / IT welcomed the Gathering. Dr.M.Premkumar, Principal of Paavai Engineering College, delivered his presidential address on the occasion. Ms.K.Sowmiya from Second Year B.Tech / IT delivered Chief Guest addressing and the floor was handed over to the Chief Guest Mr.H.Raghul , Delivery Manager , System Admin , (IaaS) Migration , DXC Technology , Bangalore. He gave the guidance on the introduction of cloud technologies and types of cloud services like (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS). He also shared the certification to be done for a cloud like GCP , AWS ,AZURE. He shared his valuable experience in working as a system admin and guided the students about cloud opportunities in hardware , software , storage , server, virtualization and also gave examples for those respectives . He also created an awareness about world wide accepted cloud certifications like CompTIA A+ , CCNA, CompTIA Storage+, Redhat and windows server ,VMWare, etc. The session was very informative and interesting. Then the floor was opened to the participants for queries. Finally the vote of thanks was proposed by Ms.S.Priya Dharshini from Second Year B.Tech / IT.
