Our Department of Mathematics organized a one day online webinar entitled “Modern Tools of Mathematics” on 11.04.2023. Mrs.M.Sathiya, Assistant Professor of Mathematics delivered welcome address. Dr.M.Sathishkumar, Associate Professor of Mathematics briefly explained the application sector of Mathematics in connection with engineering field on his felicitation address. Mrs.R.Pradeepa, Associate Professor of Mathematics and organizer of the present webinar, introduced the speaker and emphasized in our modern era. The guest speaker Dr.V.Parthiban, Assistant Professor of Mathematics, Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai delivered an excellent session to the students. He illustrates the different mathematics tools like SAGE, MATLAB, Mathematica, Geogebra and R. He shared his knowledge with the ultimate interest of upliftment of student. His speech was excellent and eye opener to the domain of mathematical tools. Faculty members and students actively participated in the program and the queries from the students and faculties were effectively replied by the speaker. The webinar is effectively and efficiently fulfilled its objective and highly informative to the participants. At the end of the session Mrs.M.Kalaiselvi, Assistant Professor delivered vote of thanks which successfully concluded the webinar.
