The department of MCA, Paavai Engineering College in association with Institutions Innovation Council (IIC) organized a one day workshop on “Entrepreneurship Skill, Attitude and Behavior Development” on 09th January 2024. The resource person for the workshop was Mr.Kaveen Prasannamoorthy, Managing Partner, Unborn Group of Companies, Trainer – Punch Gurukulam, Uthangarai. The function started with a prayer song invoking God’s blessings. Mr.R.Aadhavan, I-Year MCA, welcomed the gathering. The function was presided over by Dr.M.Premkumar, Principal, Paavai Engineering College.
Dr.M.Premkumar, in his presidential address, insisted on the importance of seminars and workshops to enhance the knowledge of the students and he motivated the students to focus on research to create new innovations. Finally, he motivated the students to become successful entrepreneurs. Introduction of the chief guest was given by Ms.V.Keerthi, I-Year MCA.
The chief guest, Mr.Kaveen Prasannamoorthy, in his keynote address motivated the students become entrepreneurs and provide job opportunities to others. He emphasized the importance of skills such as strategic thinking, financial management, and effective communication. Additionally, he underscored the significance of fostering a positive attitude, resilience, and adaptability on the entrepreneurial journey.
He gave detailed information about entrepreneur skills and attitude. His primary focus was on the thought that attitude decides the altitude of a person. He cited the examples of many successful entrepreneurs who reached the pinnacle of success through their right attitude, confidence, hard work and determination.
The session was an interactive one and helped the students to clear their queries by the resource person. The outcome of this one day workshop was that the students were inspired to cultivate the necessary skills and attitudes for their entrepreneurial endeavors, marking it as a resounding success and to become entrepreneurs.
The workshop concluded with the vote of thanks by Mr.S.M.Ranjithkumar, I-year MCA. Heads of various Departments, Professors, and Faculty members actively participated in the progamme and made it a grand success. Mr.C.Rathnakumar, Associate Professor, Department of MCA, organized this workshop. The students from Department of MCA and Cyber Security department participated with full motivation and got benefitted by this workshop.
