The department of MCA organized a one day seminar on “Evolution of Web Designing and its Applications”. On 09th May 2023, Mr.Rajkumar Kalaimani, Senior Engineer, Product and Platform, Chennai, was the chief guest of the function. The function started with a divine note along with the prayer song. Ms.R.Neha, I-Year MCA, welcomed the gathering. The function was presided over by Dr. M.Premkumar, Principal, Paavai Engineering College. Earlier, Introduction of the chief guest was given by Ms.V.Kalpana, I-Year MCA.
Dr.M.Premkumar, in his presidential address, insisted the importance of Seminars and Workshops to enhance the knowledge of the students and also, advised them to involve in all the activities to get the maximum benefit. Finally, he motivated the students to focus on the research to create new innovations.
The chief guest, Mr.Rajkumar Kalaimani, in his keynote, addressed the students to be well versed in the fundamentals of programming and computer science field, so that they could update any latest technology in their respective field. He gave a detailed information about Client Side Scripting, Server Side Scripting, HTML5, CSS-3 (Cascading Style Sheet) and Java Script. Then, he narrated the Web application Development Concepts, Types of Web applications, Process of Web Development and Environment Setup for web application programs on Visual studio IDE (Integrated Development Environment) environment lively.
The session was an interactive one and helped the students to clear their queries by the resource person. The outcome of this one day seminar was that the students were able to understand the concept of web designing and developing web applications with the latest web technology.
The function concluded with the vote of thanks by Ms.R.Pushparagini, I-year MCA. The Heads of various Departments, The Professors, and the Faculty members actively participated in the progamme and made it a grand success. The students from MCA department participated with full motivations and got benefitted by this programme.
