A Guest Lecture on ‘Strategies in Product Life Cycle Management’ was organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Resource club on 11.09.2023.
This Programme imparts basic knowledge on data of the product and the techniques behind the various product life management. The resource person was Mr.O.A.Vignesh B.E., Product Design Engineer, General Electric Renewables Europe, Bengaluru.He is a Paavai alumini of 2017 batch.
The Hod, in his presidential address urged the students to utilize the opportunity to update their knowledge in the domain of product life cycle management for the betterment of product design and re-engineering.
The invited speaker Mr.O.A.Vignesh begun his lecture by explaining the fundamentals and types of basic terminologies that are associated with it through power point presentation. He shared his problems and their solution which he has been facing after entering into the field. He also shared the future opportunities in the field of product life cycle management.
The Guest lecture was interesting, informative and interactive. The sessions were beneficial to the participants which was clear from the enthusiasm they expressed during interactions. The session came to an end with the vote of thanks.
