The department of Mechatronics and Institution Innovation Council of Paavai Engineering College organized a one-day Guest Lecture on “SCHEMES FOR ENTREPRENEURS” on 20thMay 2022. Ms. Tharani.P, final year B.E/MCT welcomed the participants. Dr.K. Sundara Murthy,Vice President, IIC, Paavai Engineering College,explained about how to raise funds for startup. He also explained about different fund raising methods.Mr. Naveen.V, secondyear B.E/MCT introduced the chief guest. Mr.R.Ramakrishnasamy, Assistant Engineer, District Industries Centre, Namakkal was the guest speaker. He pointed out the various opportunities exist in MSME schemes for entrepreneurs. He also discussed about schemes and subsidies provided by our government which are very helpful for the entrepreneurs.Finally, the vote of thanks was proposed by Mr. Harichandar.D,final year B.E/MCT. The guest lecture helped the students as well as staff to gain knowledge about entrepreneurship and the schemes which are provided by our government. Also, about some private sectors which are investing funds for entrepreneurs. The session was very informative and interesting.Totally 210 students got benefited from the session.
