The Department of Mechatronics of Paavai Engineering College organized One Day Workshop on “MATLAB and its Applications” on 24.04.2023. Mr. R. Subramani, III-year B.E/MCT welcomed the participants. Dr.M. Premkumar, Principal, Paavai Engineering College, explained about the importance of MATLAB. He also gave inputs on how to utilize this concept into developing projects. Mr. N. Kamalesh, third year B.E/MCT introduced the chief guest. Mr. P. Karthikeyan, Assistant Professor, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Kongu Engineering College, Erode. He explained the importance of learning new concepts that will be helpful in creating job opportunities. In the placement point of view, he pointed out different job positions which are available in the company when a fresher gets into it. He explained about the interview stages and how to prepare strongly as MATLAB for a company. He also handled the class on basics of MATLAB creation and Simulation. He trained the students on MATLAB through software. Many of the students developed the MATLAB software. At the end, a vote of thanks was proposed by Mr. V. Naveen, third year B.E/MCT. The one-day session was very informative and interesting. Totally 100 students got benefited from the workshop.
