The Department of Pharmaceutical Technology in association with Institutions Innovation Council has conducted a session on “Accelerators/Incubation Opportunities for Students & Faculties Early Stage Entrepreneurs” on 20.07.2023 (Thursday). The Students of Pharmaceutical Technology and EDC volunteers from all departments attended the session. The resource person of the day Dr.Kaviraj, Proprietor, GK Coco Coir Industry, Pallapatti, Dindigul enlightened the students with his thought-provoking session. He gave a detailed speak on his journey while starting his startup business. He also insists the students to increase the thirst for starting a startup business in their area of interest. He insisted that dedication, hard work, boldness, and clear goal are very important for becoming an entrepreneur. Finally, he motivated the students to read more books. He also talked about the book “Ikigai – The Japanese Secret to a Happy and Long Life” and discussed about what the world need, what we can be paid for, what we are good at, what we love, our love, passion, mission and so on. He also stated 10 rules from ikigai that helps in starting our entrepreneur journey. The importance of entrepreneurship in economy was detailed by him. He concluded his thought provoking session by quote “What you think you become. What you feel you attract. What you imagine you create – Buddha”. The students interacted with the guest speaker then and there with their queries and illuminated themselves.
