The Department of Physics, Paavai Engineering College organized a one-day Student webinar on “ADVANCEMENT’S IN NANOMATERIALS SYNTHESIS, CHARACTERIZATION AND THEIR IMPACTS ON BIOLOGICAL APPLICATIONS” on 1st August, 2023. The webinar Programme was organized by Professor & Head of the Department Mrs.S.Kavitha and coordinated by Mrs.C.Barathi, Dr.N.Hariprakash and Mr.S.Thangavel along with faculty members. Dr.M.Premkumar, Principal, Paavai Engineering College delivered his Presidential Address on the occasion. Prof.Mr.S.Dinakaran, Science and Humanities, introduced the Chief Guest Dr.N.Srinivasan, Assistant Professor (Sr.G), Department of Physics, Kongu Engineering College, Perundurai and Mr.S.Sugandhan from first year/MECH, welcomed the gathering. After that the floor was handed over to the chief guest. He shared his knowledge on advancements in nanomaterials synthesis, characterization and their impacts on biological applications and explained briefly about different applications in nanomaterials and also explained on synthesis methods and characterization techniques. The session was very informative and interesting. Then the floor was opened to the participants for interactions. The vote of thanks was proposed by Ms.S.Sabitha from first year/Bio-Tech. Thanks to our Management, Director-Admin, Principal and Staff members for their support and to make the event a very successful one.
