The Department of Physics, Paavai Engineering College organized a one day Student webinar on “STATE OF THE ART OF THIN FILM TECHNOLOGY: TOWARDS ENGINEERING” on 20th May, 2022. The webinar Programme was organized by Professor & Head of the Department Mrs.S.Kavitha and coordinated by Prof.Mrs.C.Barathi & Dr.T.Prakash along with faculty members. Dr.M.Premkumar, Principal, Paavai Engineering College delivered his Presidential Address on the occasion. Prof.M.Mohan, Science and Humanities, introduced the Chief Guest Dr.T.Deeparani, Assistant Professor, Department of Physics, Kongu Engineering College, Perundurai and Mr.P.Suresh AP/ Physics, Paavai Engineering College welcomed the gathering. After that the floor was handed over to the chief guest. She shared her knowledge on Thin film Technology and explained briefly about various techniques involved in thin films and different applications in aero space and medical devices. She also extended her speech on solar cells and list of top solar companies in the world. The session was very informative and interesting. Then the floor was opened to the participants for interactions. The vote of thanks was proposed by Mr.R.Kishore from first Year/Mech.
