The Electronics club of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering has organized an event – “TECHNICAL MASTERMINDS” on 12thOctober 2021 from02.00 p.m. to 04.30 p.m. in the Smart classroom of the ECE department. Dr.S.Sumathi, HoD Department of Management studies was the guest speaker. The welcome address was given by Supraja from final year ECE and Naveena, from final year ECE introduced the guest speaker.
In her talk, she motivated the students and gave a lot of tips to lead a successful life in today’s world of challenges. She also focused on various employability opportunities available for the students. She also insisted the participants to stay focused on their goals and handle their situations with confidence and without fear. She also added that students should chase their dreams and cherish every moment of life to make it perfect. Dr.M.Sudha, HoD, ECE appreciated the students for their active participation and involvement in organizing such events.
Three rounds were conducted in the Technical Masterminds event namely Logo identification , circuit connections and technical quiz. 13 batches were shortlisted in the first round, 6 batches in the 2nd round and finally 3 batches in the 3rd round. G.Aravind and Arun from the third year bagged the first place, G.Harish and D.Roshan Kumar from the second year bagged the 2nd place and R.Sathish Kumar and Theapanraj from the third year got the 3rd place. The winners were distributed with a certificate at the end of the session.
Finally, the vote of thanks was given by M.Jeevanantham, from final year ECE. Dr.R.Mohana Priya and Mr.Ravisankar Kandhasamy, Electronics club coordinators, Faculty members and 50 participants were present at the event. As per the feedback received from the students, it was an adventuring event.
