The Institution of Engineers (India) and Department of Information Technology, Paavai Engineering College jointly organized a one day Guest Lecture on “Fisherman Exploitation Analysis using Computer Vision” date 28.03.2024 at Kalam’s Chamber.
Dr.M.Premkumar, Principal, Paavai Engineering College, explained the importance of this guest Lecture -Dr.P.Karthikeyan, Professor, The school of computer science and engineering, RV University, Bangalore, was the chief guest. Sir explained briefly about the vast knowledge that he gained in the field of computer science to uplift the society and assist the downtrodden for their better living and developed India. He came up with project overview about smart observer architecture, statistical assessment network and labour institution that can assist in the growth of Taiwan Fishermen by generating the revenue for more than 1000 strips that produced 4.6 billion network dollars. He insisted the need of software for Labour Exploitations in Taiwan and discussed the team structure, working process of the software, designing, developing support team and quality. At last sir concluded with the need of software management that could help Taiwan government to reduce labour Exploitations.
Ms.K.Swarna of 3rd IT, welcomed the gathering. Faculty members and students actively participated in the program and made it a grand success.200 participants benefited from the guest Lecture. In the end, Shruthika of 2nd IT, proposed the vote of thanks.
