The Institution Innovation Council (IIC), the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), and the Department of Information Technology of Paavai Engineering College jointly organised a one-day seminar on business model canvas on January 28, 2023, at Cute Hall. Dr. M. Premkumar, President of the IIC, presided over the function. In his presidential address, he explained the rising evolution of startup programs in India in detail.
Mr. K.M. Elango, a serial entrepreneur, CCI expert, and digital transformation specialist, explained briefly the bloom of startup programs by entrepreneurs with innovative ideas and a scalable business model. He also elaborated on the startup canvas, the challenges faced by startup during their development faces, key resources in scaling the project, and mainly about CCI (copy or curate ideas) with customised and creative ideas.
He also talked about how to redefine your model based on the existing model and how to learn your startup canvas with feasibility, desirability, and viability with beneficial value proportion. He also gave many innovative ideas and elaborated on solving the technical problems using AI, redefining the existing project. The chief guest clearly answered the queries raised by the students.
Ms.S.Devadharshini of the third IT welcomed the gathering. Faculty members and students actively participated in the programme and made it a grand success. 80 participants were benefitted from the programme. In the end, Ms.N.Reema of IT proposed the vote of thanks.
